Reveiw 4: Brand Design and Designers

                                                     Hernandez Dreamphography
https://www.hernandezdreamphography.com/

Felix Hernandez is a photographer, graphic designer, and digital artist. Hernandez's work interests me for many reasons. It looks cool, and he seems to really enjoy it. He makes cool retro car edits that interest me in particular. The work of Felix Hernandez has been published into magazines such as Retouched Magazine, Docma Germany, Digital camera, Digital photo, DSLR photography, good light magazine and more. He was also the judge at the Handam international photography awards (HIPA).
Felix Hernandez works on a lot of cool stuff. He has a very long process. First he makes a 3D model that he likes on a website like blender. Next he 3D prints it, and sets it up into a design. Finally he photographs the final product. He says he does it for fun, but makes money off of it as well. It seems as if Felix Hernandez has put lots of work into his portfolio and website in general. I think the reason that I enjoy Hernandez's work so much is because of all of the time he puts into it.
Lots of the work that Hernandez does is often a car crash of sorts. This makes me wonder if he had a past experiences with car crashes.

CGI reveiw project

Today I will be reviewing the film Pockets and it's CGI. The film is about a guy who tries to mug another guy, but the guy getting mugged has special pockets. His pockets act like portals, and when he sticks his hands into his pockets, his hands go into other peoples pockets. The producers are Dan Kwan, and Daniel Scheinert. While watching this film for the first time, the ability into reach in one pocket and have your hand come out another person's pockets, really caught my attention. CGI was used to make this possible.
In my opinion, the most impressive scene from the film was the scene when they are fighting by punching each other through pockets. This is done using CGI. The hands coming out of the pockets are likely fake, and a design made by the computer. The mood of this film is intense throughout most of it. However, at the end, there is a hot pocket scene that is funny. It also uses CGI. At the end, the guy who was getting mugged had won, and was showboating. He ate a victory Hot pocket. However, he forgot that it was technically a pocket. The other guy reached into it and killed the other man, as this meant that he was reaching inside the other guy. The CGI used here was for when he reached inside the hot pocket, killing him. This likely used similar CGI to that of before, when they are fighting. In conclusion, they used CGI of different kinds during this project. There were multiple moods and themes throughout the short film.

NBA 2k game review - Mason Cirone - period 2

NBA 2k 18 game review

Mason Cirone

Period 2

Today I will be reviewing NBA 2k 18. I chose to review this game for numerous reasons. The main reason being that I own this game and I enjoy playing it very much. Another reason is I always wondered what went into making a game like NBA 2k 18.
To make a game like NBA 2k 18, lots of computer technology, and 3D design go into it. In order to make the movement of the in game characters look realistic, they put motion sensors on people while they play basketball. They do this to capture their movements to make the game be more human-like. They use coding to determine the chances of making a shot, fouling and more.
I think it would be hard to work in a 3D design enviorment, as it would be a lot of work. I could not see myself working in this career, because I think it would be confusing.

Skittles super bowl commercial 2017

Super bowl add review
Mason Cirone
Intro to digital media
period 2

                                                        Skittles Super Bowl Commercial 2017

This commercial grabbed my attention for many reasons. First i like skittles a lot. Also I saw a rodent eating skittles so naturally I was interested. This commercial's message was that skittles are so good that you would ignore someone to eat the skittles. This is communicated through a scene of them showing us that the girl, family members, a mall cop, and a rodent are ignoring the kid by pretending they cant hear him and instead eating the skittles that he is trying to get their attention. They use a puppet to imitate a rodent of some sort. I thought this was humorous, and it caught my attention. they also use lots of colors to communicate the message. they use all colors of the rainbow to show that skittles is flavorful, using all colors of the rainbow.
Overall I think this is a great commercial. It is funny, well acted, has great design, and makes me want top buy more skittles.
